Haroon Jahan; Victim of 'Racial Crisis'

Assalamu'alaykum,

This is a very short post I advocate and dedicate to my Brother in faith, Tariq Jahan whose son -Haroon Jahan- was killed during the massive outburst in Birmingham a couple weeks ago. It was truly a heart-breaking moment for him, witnessing his son was chased by a car drove by peace-hater and unable to save him which was deliberately hit. While coping with the loss of his son in hit-and-run incident, he, Tariq Jahan has stood up, strongly as it can be clearly seen, for a better cause, resulting from the vicious murder of his son. In spite of the claptrap unintelligent accusations of the politicians that have divided the society, Tariq Jahan gallantly stood up for justice and rights for every human being in this world.

“Blacks, Asians, whites – we all live in the same community. Why do we have to kill one another. Why are we doing this?” - Tariq Jahan, a dismayed father.

I have to add in this really heart-shattering video. I was crying so hard, silently.

Uncle Tariq, I pity you for what had happened to your son and I grieve for his demise. You have my empathy, my grievance and my prayer.

My condolences to you and your family. May Allah place your son in Jannah, a promised land for those who believe and make you strong to go through over this probably the most arduous stage of your life.
